International Driving Permits
Resortifi conditionally accepts International Driving Permits. Resortifi requires guests in France who don’t meet the country’s driving license requirements to present an International Driving Permit.
Using an International Driving Permit
US, Australia, Canada, UK
You can check in for a trip with an International Driving Permit as long as it’s accompanied by a valid driver’s license issued in your country of residence.
France
If you’re booking a trip in France, you must have either a valid driving license that’s written entirely in French, a valid license issued by one of the European Economic Area countries, or a valid license issued in the United Kingdom. Otherwise, you must have a valid driver’s license issued in your country of residence together with an International Driving Permit or an official translation of your national license in French.
Getting an International Driving Permit
It can take anywhere from a day to several weeks to receive an International Driving Permit (IDP). Generally speaking, IDPs are available exclusively through automobile associations (AAA, CAA, FIA/AIT, etc) to both members and non-members.
