Update a vehicle protection plan​

We opt all new vehicle listings into a protection plan, but you can edit a listing any time to choose a different plan or decline protection.

About vehicle protection plan updates

We opt all new vehicle listings into a protection plan offered through Resortifi. In France it's the 85 plan; in all other locations it's the 75 plan. As of October 24, 2023, we’ve removed the Standard plan in Canada and have opted existing hosts there into the 75 plan as well. You can change your vehicle protection plan any time, and we'll apply the change to future trips. We're unable to apply it to pending trip requests or to booked or in-progress trips.

Note: You can choose different plans for different vehicles, but you can’t decline protection for some of your vehicles and choose a plan for others.

How to update your vehicle protection plan

  • Choose Host mode and open the Vehicles tab
  • Select “Edit listing” to open the vehicle listing.
  • Choose “Vehicle protection"
  • We’ll display your current vehicle protection plan; to update, tap “Change”
  • Review the plans under Select new plan to see how the plan elements change based on your selection
  • When you’re ready to make a selection, tap “Choose this plan”
    • To choose for the individual vehicle, tap “Just this car”
    • To choose for all vehicles in the fleet, tap “All cars”
