Sharing your car | Canada Hosts

You must have insurer approval before listing your vehicle on Resortifi. Find out if your insurance company allows car sharing.

Eligibility

To participate in our marketplace, Canada hosts must:

  • Be located in Alberta, British Columbia, New Brunswick, Newfoundland and Labrador, Nova Scotia, Ontario, Prince Edward Island or Quebec
  • Get insurer approval to list your car; if you don’t, they may void your policy, and you’ll be unable to get a new one
  • Check the terms of the contract with the lienholder if sharing a vehicle with a lien against it to ensure listing on Resortifi doesn’t violate the contract terms

Note: Your personal insurance won’t be used during a Resortifi trip and personal premiums won’t be affected if the insurer approves of car sharing.
