Excusing host cancellation fee
If we charged or plan to charge you a cancellation fee, we may be able to excuse it depending on the circumstances.
Circumstances that may be eligible
Resortifi may, at its sole discretion, excuse host cancellation fees under certain circumstances. These may include situations in which:
- Cancellation was due to circumstances of a previous Resortifi trip (e.g. vehicle damage, late return); note that you’re prohibited from canceling a trip to allow another guest to extend their trip
- Cancellation was due to a verifiable natural disaster, death in the family, or serious injury
- Canceled guest rebooks trip with you within 24 hours after you cancel their trip, which will also trigger Resortifi to remove the automated cancellation review
- Cancellation is your first one out of your past 10 booked trips
- Trip was booked instantly, and you have a reasonable fear for the safety of your vehicle and/or yourself; if this is the case, select cancellation reason “I’m uncomfortable with this trip” to alert us to the situation
- Guest specified in Resortifi messaging that they intend to engage in a policy violation
Note: We won’t excuse a cancellation fee for circumstances not listed here and can’t guarantee that we’ll always excuse a fee even under these circumstances.
Request to have fee excused
To submit a request to have a cancellation fee excused, tap/click “Contact Us” at the bottom of this page and when prompted to type a question, type “Help with cancellation fee.” Resortifi will review the circumstances and decide whether to excuse the cancellation fee based on available evidence and at its sole discretion.
