Low auto insurance score
An auto insurance score (AIS) is used to determine whether we can approve you to book vehicles on Resortifi. Reach out to TransUnion if you have questions about your AIS.
Understanding auto insurance score
An auto insurance score (AIS) assigns a level of insurance risk to each individual. In other words, it tells us how likely it is that you’ll file a claim. Resortifi considers AIS when evaluating new guests in the US and Canada. By accepting our Terms of Service, you granted consent for Resortifi to receive your AIS from TransUnion as part of our ongoing efforts to improve the safety and security of our community. TransUnion uses some elements of your credit report to come up with your AIS, which is not the same as a credit score. You can learn more about AIS. Your credit score isn’t impacted by our obtaining your AIS.
Resolving an issue with a low AIS
If we deny you access to Resortifi because of a low AIS, we’ll let you know via email. Check your inbox and spam/junk mail folder for an email with the Subject line “You’re unable to book on Resortifi.” If you believe the score we received from TransUnion is incorrect, take these steps:
- Write a letter of dispute to TransUnion.
- Send the letter to the mailing address we included in your email.
- If you receive a corrected auto insurance score from TransUnion, submit it to us for consideration.
Resortifi has the right to deny a user from the platform if their AIS doesn’t meet its benchmark. We’re unable to change, overrule, or disregard a low AIS. Unless we receive a corrected, qualifying AIS from TransUnion, we can’t allow you to book a vehicle on Resortifi.
