Failing to show up for a trip
If you don’t cancel and don’t show up for a trip or send someone else in your place, your host can report you as a guest “no-show.”
Guest no-shows
Your host may report you as a “no-show” in any of the situations listed below.
- You send anyone else — including an approved additional driver — to pick up the vehicle in your place
- You don’t cancel a Resortifi Go trip and fail to show up within 12 hours of trip start time
- You don’t cancel a non-Resortifi Go trip and fail to show up within 30 minutes of the trip start time
If your host reports that you as a “no-show,” we’ll cancel the trip and may issue you a partial refund. Exceptions for no-shows may apply in the event of a flight delay, flight cancellation, or lost baggage, safety issues tied to vehicle cleanliness, or other extenuating circumstances.
Refunds for no-shows depend on trip length
If your trip was two days or shorter: We’ll refund your trip price and trip fee minus 75% of the average of one day’s cost. We’ll also refund the cost of your protection plan, any Extras, any young driver fee, and half of any pickup location fee.
If your trip was longer than two days: We’ll refund your trip price and trip fee minus the average of two days’ cost. We’ll also refund your protection plan, any Extras, any young driver fee, and half of any pickup location fee.
