Paying for parking

Some hosts house their vehicles in or deliver them to paid parking facilities. Hosts must make it clear whether you’re required to pay the parking fee at those facilities.

Parking fee disclosure

Check the Description field of a host’s vehicle listing to see if they house or deliver their vehicle to a paid parking facility. The host must also let you know there whether you’ll be responsible for paying the parking fee to enter or exit the facility when you pick up or return their vehicle.

Note: If you must pay a parking fee and your host didn’t disclose it in the Description field of their vehicle listing, save the receipt and contact us via Billing chat for a parking fee refund.

Host payment options

If information in the host’s listing says they’ll cover the parking fee, they have two options for doing so.

Reimbursement

A host may send you a note in Resortifi messaging letting you know that they’ll reimburse you for the parking fee once the trip ends. Save the parking receipt and contact customer support via chat once the trip has ended. The agent will ask you to submit a photo of the receipt, will check Resortifi messaging for your host’s note, and will reimburse you.

Payment up front

Your host may leave the parking fee amount in cash in the vehicle and tell you where to find it. A parking fee cash transaction is not a violation of Resortifi’s gray market policy.
